On Heisners organic fields a pre-calibrated flume was installed by the USGS and Discovery Farm staff to monitor the volume of runoff. A gauging station was also installed and equipped with an ISCO sampler to take samples of the runoff. These samples are analyzed for a variety of constituents which include the different forms of nutrient and sediment. |
