Below are links to Discovery Farms results and information from research topics broader than one individual farm. Data and further information from each project are located on the individual pages. A short description of each project follows the link.

Watershed Scale Projects
In the past, UW-Discovery Farms research was conducted on several individual farms around Wisconsin. The program is now transitioning into research that involves all farmers in several small watersheds.
Agricultural Tile Drainage
Tile drains play an important role in Wisconsin's agricultural systems. Understanding the purpose of tile drainage, locating tile drainage systems an proper drain tile maintenance are key components to maintaining agricultural productivity and protecting water quality in Wisconsin.
Cropping Systems Management
Recent studies completed by the UW-Discovery Farms Program addressing management of cropping systems to reduce nutrient and sediment losses include 'Impacts of Shallow Vertical Tillage on Soil Disturbance and Residue' and 'Cover Crops in Wisconsin Farming Systems'.
Manure Management Considerations
Past Discovery Farms research has shown that making good decisions with manure throughout the year is critical to protecting water quality and maintaining on-farm productivity. Two aspects of manure management featured here are timing and landscape considerations.
