Dennis became the co-director of the Discovery Farms program in 2001. He is involved in the day-to-day management of the program as well as teaching and speaking at numerous field days and workshops throughout the state. Dennis and his family live on a small farm in northern Trempealeau County where they maintain a herd of beef cattle and spend time fishing in western Wisconsin.

Judy has been the Program Assistant for the Discovery Farms program since March of 2001. Judy focuses her work on the behind the scenes tasks, keeping the office and its affairs running smoothly. Judy and her husband, Nolan, along with their two sons operate a 700-cow dairy; Judy enjoys spending her free time with her family.

In September 2001, Kevan became an Outreach Specialist with the Discovery Farms program. Kevan is active in educating farmers, private sector agriculture professionals and agency staff about soil and water conservation, nutrient management and agricultural environmental stewardship.

Amber started work as a summer intern then became the communications coordinator, and as of 2009 is the Regional Nutrient Management Outreach Specialist for southwestern Wisconsin. She works with farmers through the Nutrient Management Farmer Training Program to write their own plans.

Susan joined the Discovery Farms staff in 2004, working on data collection. Her job encompasses organizing data coming from Discovery Farms. The different types of data are crop information on fields, runoff events from USGS and interactive GIS maps. She keeps busy with her husband and two sons on their hobby farm raising beef cattle and llamas.

Fred became the co-director of Discovery Farms program in 2001. Fred's work has been directed mainly toward assessing the impacts of animal waste and its management on surface and groundwater.

Eric started work for Discovery Farms in December 2004 as an outreach specialist. His work focuses on natural resource issues in eastern Wisconsin with an emphasis on surface water runoff and tile line drainage. Eric spends his free time with family and enjoying the outdoors, hunting and fishing.
